Chapter 27 - Rival Battle!

The very next day after winning the Rainbow badge from the Celadon Gym, Rize is about to leave Celadon city and went to his next destination which is Fuschia City. Altough Saffron City is nearer to Celadon, Rize is still not confident enough to have a rematch in the Saffron Gym so he decided to go to Fuschia City instead. However he met with someone he knew.
Rize: Reinz! It's been a while! What are you doing here??
Reinz: Hm? Who are you? Hmm.. Ah! You're the one I defeated before at Prof.Oak's lab!
Rize: I'm Rize! Remember my name!
Reinz: Oops.. I forgot again..So how many badges have you got so far?
Rize: I got 4 now!
Reinz: Only 4?! I already have 7 badges and this Celadon Gym will be my last one! Seeing you already win this Gym that means it's a guarantee I will get my 8th.
Rize: Cut it out! Let's have a rematch to see who's the better Trainer right now!
Reinz: Oh? A battle! Allright.. let's have a full 6 on 6 battle!
Rize and Reinz decided to have a full 6 on 6 battle to settle the score.
Reinz: Weezing go!

Rize: Poliwhirl go!
Reinz: Weezing use Smoke Screen!
Weezing unleashed a thick Smoke and hide inside it making Rize and Poliwhirl can't tell where is their exact positiion.
Rize: Where is it hiding?
Reinz: Weezing charge in and use Explosion!
Weezing came out of the smoke and used Explosion on Poliwhirl and both of them is knocked out.
Rize: Damn it! Don't you care about your Pokemon at all?! Explosion is a powerful move but it also knock your own Pokemon!
Reinz: As long as it helps me winning.. Next Electrode go!

" Electrode the Ball Pokemon. It is an Electric type. It is known to drift on winds if it is bloated to bursting with stored electricity. "

Rize: Sandshrew go!
Reinz: Lucky you send out Sandshrew a Ground type Pokemon! But it doesn't matter.. hehehe
Rize: We'll see about that! Sandshrew Dig!
Sandshrew dug unto the ground.
Reinz: Magnet Rise!
Electrode used Magnet Rise and is floating in the air and avoided Sandshrew's Dig attack.
Rize: What?!
Reinz: Now! Explosion go!
Electrode rolled into Sandshrew and used Explosion and both of them are knocked out.
Rize: Again?! So this is your battle style huh?! Bulbasaur go!
Reinz: Slowbro you're next!

" Slowbro the Hermit Crab Pokemon and the evolved form of Slowpoke. It is a Water and Psychic type. Though usually dim witted, it seems to become inspired if the SHELLDER on its tail bites down."

Rize: Bulbasaur Razor Leaf!
Reinz: Stop it with Psychic and send it back!
Slowbro used Psychic and send the Razor Leaf back to Bulbasaur but Bulbasaur managed to dodge them all.
Rize: "What's with this guy?! I can't read his battle style! His battle style completely different now that he's using a bulk and slow Pokemon like that." Bulbasaur use Poison Powder!
Bulbasaur used Poison Powder and Slowbro is poisoned.
Reinz: Oh no! Slowbro use Psychic!
Bulbasaur was hit with Psychic and it's super effective.
Rize: Bulbasaur stay strong! Use Mega Drain and suck all his energy! (Bulbasaur learned Mega Drain upon seeing Ivysaur's Giga Drain.)
Slowbro keep using Psychic but Bulbasaur keep sucking its energy from Leech Seed and Mega Drain resulting Slowbro to be knocked out first.
Reinz: Not bad.. Exeggutor go Egg Bomb attack!

Bulbasaur can't dodge the Egg Bomb attack and knocked out.

" Exeggutor the Coconut Pokemon. It is a Grass and Psychic type. It is called "The Walking Jungle." If a head grows too big, it falls off and becomes an EXEGGCUTE. "

Rize: " What's an Exeggcute? " Such powerful move! Charmander your turn! Flamethrower!
Reinz: Damn it! Exeggutor Light Screen!
Exeggutor was hit with Flamethrower but due to Light Screen effect the damage is not so much.
Reinz: Egg Bomb!
Charmander was hit with Egg Bomb and knocked out!
Reinz: Hahaha! Your little Charmander is still weak as ever!
Rize: Quit mocking my Charmander! Pidgeotto go! Gust attack!
Reinz: No matter what you do is useless!
Exeggutor was hit with Gust attack.
Rize: Now Aerial Ace!
Reinz: Quick use Psychic!
Due to the disturbance of Gust attack, Exeggutor was a little bit late on using Psychic and knocked out by Aerial Ace.
Reinz: Not bad.. Hitmonlee go!

Rize: Fool! Using a Fighting type against a Flying type! Go use Gust attack!
Hitmonlee was hit by Gust attack but it stand strong on its spot.
Reinz: Yeah? How bout this?! Rolling Kick!
Hitmonlee surprisingly extended its legs and kicked Pidgeotto on the air and Pidgeotto fell to the ground.
Rize: What?! It can extend its leg?!
Reinz: Hitmonlee's leg is elastic! Don't you know that?! Go Rolling Kick again!
Rize: Aerial Ace!
Pidgeotto dodged the Rolling Kick and hit Hitmonlee with Aerial Ace and Hitmonlee is knocked out but Pidgeotto can't take it anymore due to the damage from Rolling Kick and also out of the battle.
Reinz: At least you're raising your Pokemon! Last chance Growlithe go!

" Growlithe the Puppy Pokemon. It is a Fire type. A Pokemon with a loyal nature. It will remain motionless until it is given an order by its Trainer. "

Rize: Eevee! You're my last hope!

Rize: Eevee Quick Attack go!
Reinz: Attacking recklessly without any strategy,Growlithe Flamethrower!
Eevee was hit with Flamethrower upon attacking Growlithe with Quick Attack and knocked out.
Rize: Noo! Eevee!
Reinz: Let me tell you something, This team is my reserve, they're not my real Team. I guess you can figure out the rest by yourself.
Rize: ...
After losing quite badly with Reinz, Rize went to the Pokemon Centre to get his Pokemon's injury healed. His Pokemon will be okay, but how about Rize himself? Will he be okay?!
